As part of New Moms’ first ever Mother’s Day fundraising campaign, I chose to highlight the authentic voices of the young moms we serve with a three-part video series.

The series was shared on New Moms’ social media to promote the fundraising campaign. In total, the videos reached over 1,150 people on Facebook with 31 unique engagements. On Instagram, the series received 188 views. The campaign itself raised over $5000.

I used my interpersonal, video, and audio skills to tell these personal stories of motherhood. To create the videos, I interviewed four production assistants in New Moms’ job training program. Using Adobe Premiere, I edited the raw footage from all four interview into three distinct videos. I added the Mother’s Day campaign branding and donor ask to each video as well as light background music to complete the project.
