ENEWSLETTERS
At New Moms, I coordinated the publication of all eNewsletters and eBlasts sent by the organization. This included monthly organizational updates, the quarterly Praying Together eNewsletter from the Spiritual Formation Team, and ad hoc eBlasts for special events and fundraising campaigns. I’ve increased the open rate of our monthly eNewsletter by 4% while in this position.
In addition to writing most of the content, I also edited, designed, and scheduled all emails – approximate 100 individual emails in total – using Constant Contact. Prior to this position, I had never used Constant Contact, so I taught myself how to use the program within the first month on the Development Team.
During my time at New Moms, I helped implement a segmented email list strategy which allowed us to tailor our fundraising campaign emails to better appeal to specific groups of donors like first time donors vs. recurring donors.
