SELF-GUIDED MOBILE TOURS

For this project, I combined my writing, researching, and multimedia skills to find creative ways of connecting with new audiences. As a public outreach intern for Preservation Utah, I created seven self-guided walking tours. I designed these tours to encourage active exploration of Utah history and to appeal to those outside of a museum setting.

I used my writing and researching skills to craft an easy-to-follow narrative for each tour. Additionally, I used my photography and audio editing skills to select the best current and historical photographs to illustrate the story. Using Adobe software, I incorporated the above elements into a cohesive final product.

Being highly organized and detail oriented allowed me to juggle multiple projects at once and successfully complete all tours on deadline. Currently, four of the seven tours have been launched on the Utah Heritage app.
