Utahns for Religious Scholarship (URS) is a Utah-based interfaith organization that promotes religious literacy, scholarship, and dialogue in Utah. I built the URS website to help them achive their goal of connecting with a larger audience in the community.

Using WordPress, I created this website from scratch. Before any formal designing, I helped the organization purchase all necessary behind-the-scene services like the domain name (website URL) and webhosting. After this step, I developed the website framework and curated the content. I wrote and edited the text on the website after conducting interviews with board members. For visuals, I compiled and edited photographs using Adobe Photoshop and designed all of the icons and the organization’s logo using Adobe Illustrator. I made final revisions to the content and overall design after conducting several user tests with community members. Finally, I created a URS Website Guide so the organization could continue to update the website for future use.

The website was officially launched in Spring 2018. It is used to promote URS events and facilitate communication between potential community partners and the organization.
